K&H is supporting young agricultural professionals again this year
The scholarship competition for sustainable agriculture, which is being announced by K&H for the 10th time, supports students in agricultural education, the company announced to MTI on Monday.
The announcement of the subsidy was justified by the green transition of the agricultural sector, because this requires a new approach and new procedures – they wrote. K&H is waiting for applications from young people who are researching innovative directions in agriculture in order to protect natural resources and make farming more efficient. According to the announcement, at the beginning of the scholarship application, sustainability seemed like an exciting topic, but today it is the defining aspect of both EU subsidies and consumer expectations. Over the course of its history, more than 400 students have already applied for the call, which indicates that young people are also interested in developing solutions, they added. The grant has so far helped 69 students with a total of more than HUF 12 million to continue their studies and research.
Applicants can choose from 14 topics this year, and their applications are accepted in the bachelor’s, master’s and PhD education categories. The application deadline is September 27, the call for tenders and the data sheet can be downloaded from the K&H website.
