The beaches of Lake Balaton were classified with Blue Wave Flags again this year

The Diási Play Beach in Gyenesdiás is the beach with the highest scores this year in the Blue Wave Flag beach qualification competition – was announced on Wednesday at the award ceremony of the competition in Zamárdi.

According to the organizers, the best five-star Blue Wave Flag can be set by 17 beach operators, four stars won by 14, three stars by 3 and two stars by 1 beach operators.

The most prepared beach of Lake Balaton in epidemiological control became Gyenesdiás, which received a special award. The special award for the most dynamically developing beach of the Balaton Tourism Association was won by the Green Wave beach in Balatonederics. (MTI)
