For the sixth time this year, the Agriculture Personality of the Year awards will be presented

The Agriculture Personality of the Year awards will be handed over for the sixth time this year. There were more than 500 nominees in recent years – the executive director of the Agrotrend Group told M1 news channel on Tuesday.

Mátrai Zoltán said that anyone could nominate anyone for the prize. The jury select thirty finalists – three per category after interviews.

Candidates are not only eminent in their profession, but are also involved in civic engagement, for example by supporting foundations, holidaying children and improving the lives of people around them – he added.

The awards will be handed over on 8 February at a gala evening. (MTI)
