Hungarians spend a quarter more time with traveling at the end of 2012
In the last month of 2012, Hungarians spend a quarter more time away from their homes, compared to 2011. In the Christmas and New Year’s Eve period the most popular destinations are the spa towns. The top 10 list this year is led by Hajdúszoboszló – show the statistics of Szallas.hu.
According to the communication sent to MTI last Friday, small guest houses and pensions are more and more popular in the Christmas and New Year’s Eve period, and it can also be observed that beside the classic spa vacation, a stronger demand occurs for program tourism for guests looking for active holiday activities.
