This year's grain will be marketed with reverse tax from July
The domestic grain, oilseeds and protein crops can be sold with reverse tax in 2012. The law will come into force on the 1st of July. The new system eliminates the illegal traders from the market and the VAT revenue of the budget will increase – said Czerván György, State Secretary of the Ministry of Rural Development on Wednesday at the agricultural forum, held in Mezőhegyes.
Czerván György told MTI, that the ministry expects the automatic termination of the illegal markets, after the law enters into force. Czerván György mentioned Romania as an example, where after the introduction of the reverse VAT, ninety percent of the illegal participants have disappeared from grain trade, and the VAT revenues have doubled.
