Master Franchise Network of the Year

Hertz Car Rental entered the Hungarian market in 1978. After the political transformation a German businessman took over the master franchise and formed Mercur Rent a Car Kft. He opened two units in Budapest in 1995 and Hertz honoured these with the ‘Franchisee of the Year ‘95’award. In 1998 they started building the network outside Budapest with franchise partners and currently there are 11 Hertz units all over Hungary.
