The Heineken celebrated its 141st anniversary with the coolest party of the year
A few days ago an abandoned downtown building was changed to a world-class party venue. The Heineken celebrated its own and Budapest’s 141st anniversary in the most special way.
During the all-night party Hungary’s most popular DJs ruled the turntable, while the walls were decorated with light painting referring to Heineken and the Hungarian capital. In addition, to the courtesy of KLM lucky guests won an exclusive weekend for two in New York.
141 years ago, Gerard Heineken bought a sixteenth century brewery and founded the Heineken company in 1873. We can find the exceptionally soft tasted beer and iconic bottles in more than 200 countries. Since Budapest was also founded in 1873 with the merging of Pest, Buda and Óbuda settlements, there was no question that, similar to last year’s joint birthday anniversary, this year Heineken also gives a toast to the Hungarian capital.
