Vajda-Papír won the “Largest training program of the year” award
Vajda-Papír was awarded the “Largest training program of the year award” by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (KKM) together with the National Investment Agency (HIPA). The recognition was presented to Attila Vajda, the founder and managing director of the company, at the gala event of the “Investor of the Year 2022” award on the evening of March 23 by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Levente Magyar and István Joó, CEO of HIPA. Every year at the “Investor of the Year” gala, the companies that made the most significant investments in the past year are recognized.
During the presentation of the “Award for the largest training program of the year”, it was said at the award ceremony that the Vajda-Papír Group, Hungary’s market-leading manufacturer of hygienic paper products, started as a family business in 1999 and has now grown into a large company employing 650 employees and using industry-leading technology, whose paper products delivered to more than 30 countries. The company launched a EUR 4 million training project for its more than 500 employees, including the 60 new employees who joined the company thanks to last year’s EUR 64.2 million development of the Dunaföldvár factory. The purpose of the program was to deepen knowledge of paper base materials and to increase the efficiency of processing and base paper production machines. In addition, employees can improve their knowledge with, among other things, modern production techniques and computer skills.
