This year’s Most Inspiring Leader of the Year Award went to Richter’s leader
Based on the opinions of 252 Hungarian CEOs, PwC Hungary has awarded the Most Inspiring Leader of the Year Award for the third time. The award recognizes a Hungarian CEO who is considered a role model by Hungarian business leaders. This year, Gábor Orbán, CEO of Gedeon Richter Plc., was awarded on February 19 at the press event at PwC’s Budapest headquarters where the results of the PwC CEO Survey were presented.
For the fourteenth time this year, PwC Hungary asked Hungarian business leaders in person about their view of the global and domestic economic environment, their own business situation, and the difficulties and risks they face.
As part of the survey conducted between October and December 2024, top decision-makers were also able to express their opinions on who they consider to be Hungary’s most inspiring leader. Based on the responses of the 265 business leaders who participated in the survey, Gábor Orbán, CEO of Richer Gedeon Plc., won the 2024 Most Inspiring Leader Award. By awarding the award, PwC aims to draw attention to those leaders who, in addition to business results, also build the corporate ecosystem of the future, and who, in addition to their individual development, are also committed to building the culture of the organization, thereby serving as an example to their fellow leaders.
The award was presented by László Radványi, CEO of PwC, at the event presenting the results of this year’s survey.
