The award of Cannes Lions Festival is given to advertisers whose marketing is inspiring and innovative. Last year's winner was Honda.
The
Cincinnati-based maker of beauty, health and household goods spent
more than $8 billion on advertising around the world last year. Some
of its brands include Duracell, Gillette, Pampers, Pantene, Pringles,
Olay, and Oral-B. In 2007 P&G won 14 Lions at Cannes, including
the coveted Press Lions Grand Prix. The festival will be held June
15-21 in Cannes, France.
