Between 2013 and 2017, almost 12 billion euros of counterfeit goods were seized in the European Union
About 438 million counterfeit goods were seized in the European Union between 2013 and 2017, with an estimated value of nearly 12 billion euros – the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) told MTI on Tuesday.
Approximately 70-85 percent of the total value of seized items is confiscated within national markets, while the remainder is confiscated at EU borders. (MTI)
