The European Court of Justice protects the GM-free honey
The European Court of Justice on Tuesday strenghtened the right of the beekeepers and consumers to GM-polluted free honey.
The Court decided that for the distribution of honey containing pollution from transgenic plants should require full food safety permission and in addition should wear the “GM” label. The decision opens the way to the further strengthening of the European legislations on gene manipulation – states the Hungarian Society of Conservationists (MTVSZ) – reports tozsdeforum.hu.
