The European Council calls for improvements in food safety
The Parliamentary Assembly of the European Council urged to improve food security in Europe in its resolution adopted on Thursday night.
According to the document, beside the increased monitoring of food products it is also necessary to strengthen the obligation to provide information on food packaging, as well as to support researches, that aim to explore the new food safety risks. (MTI)
