Seven percent of EU imports are counterfeit
There is a growing problem that an increasing share of the commodities traded in world trade are counterfeit, for example, 7 percent of EU imports are counterfeit products, which poses a significant potential risk in the knowledge-based, open global economy – origo describes the survey of OECD.
The value of counterfeit and unauthorized products reaches 460 billion euros.
The proportion of counterfeit goods in EU imports is close to 7 percent, which is equivalent to 121 billion euros. (origo)
