The EU will increase the support of the beekeeping sector to 120 million euros
The European Commission will provide 120 million euros (38.6 billion HUF) to support the European Union beekeeping sector over the next three years. This funding represents an increase of 12 million euros, compared to the amount for the period 2017-2019 – the EU commission announced on Monday.
According to Phil Hogan, Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, EU support for improving the potential of the sector and marketing products will be applid to national apiculture programs starting from 1 August and ending on 31 July 2022. (MTI)
