Taxation of the meal vouchers would be a handicap for everyone
Two and a half million workers, and every fourth restaurant would be affected by the taxation of a meal vouchers –states the Food Distributors Voucher Association (EUFE).
According to the Food Distributors Voucher Association the impact on workers and the impact on the catering industry should be measured accurate before the decision. The Association doubts that the government's planned tax revenues would come into the budget. Kopint-Tárki’s study states that only 7.2 billion forints would come into the budget instead of the proposed 122 billion in 2010, while the turnover of hospitality would decrease with 142 billion HUF and 19 thousand jobs would disappear.
