Value and Quality are recession-proof!
On 8 September the Value and Quality Awards were presented to the winners for the fifth time, in the building of the Hungarian Parliament. This year 41 entries by 34 companies were granted the trademark use, in more than 100 categories.
Organised by DIAMOND Szervezőiroda Bt., ExVA Vizsgáló és Tanúsító Kft., Hajnal Húskombinát Kft., LEGRAND Magyarország Villamos Rendszerek Zrt. and SZÁM-PONT Számítástechnikai és Oktató Központ Kft., the programme rewards those products, services and companies that are dedicated to delivering high quality, which can be competitive even in the international market. Nearly 80% of the 2022 winners have already had some kind of Value and Quality certification, award or trademark. Most of them are small and medium-sized businesses and just like in former years, the highest number of entries came from the agri-food sector.
Ildikó Kiss Károlyné, managing director of DIAMOND Szervezőiroda Bt. and founder of the trademark told our magazine: “In the current difficult economic climate, it is a great success that there weren’t fewer entries and award winners than last year. Our experience is that companies which plan for the long term do their best to gain competitive edge, and think that they can make progress if their excellence is certified by an independent panel of experts. The last 2-3 years showed that in most cases winning the Value and Quality award and using the certification trademark increases sales by 20-30%.”
