In the service of value and quality
On 9 September, the Value and Quality Awards were presented to the winners for the fourth time in the building of the Hungarian Parliament. Organised by DIAMOND Szervezőiroda Bt., ExVA Vizsgáló és Tanúsító Kft., Hajnal Húskombinát Kft., LEGRAND Magyarország Villamos Rendszerek Zrt. and SZÁM-PONT Számítástechnikai és Oktató Központ Kft., the programme rewards those products, services and companies that are dedicated to delivering quality. Any private individual, legal personality, company, sole trader or community is eligible for entry from Hungary and the Carpathian Basin with products, product ranges, software and services.
Even good wine needs bush’
Ildikó Kiss Károlyné, managing director of DIAMOND Szervezőiroda Bt. and founder of the trademark told our magazine: businesses have accepted the fact that they must keep going forward if they want to stay on their feet, and trademarks like Value and Quality can help them strengthen their market positions.
Entries were evaluated in 5 rounds, using approximately 25 criteria. Perhaps the most important of these is legal compliance – and not only in terms of quality, but also providing consumers with information. This year, 41 entries of 38 applicants were granted the Value and Quality Award and the related trademark usage right. Most of the winners came from the agri-food sector, which proved during the pandemic that it is capable of ensuring Hungary’s food supply. //
