The construction industry factored the most during the pandemic
Most businesses opted for factoring, citing the economic downturn, changed payment deadlines, and the resulting decline in confidence — many did not trust their old, well-established partners during the pandemic. Due to the uncertain economic environment, new sectors became interested: agricultural and real estate companies also appeared at the doors of factoring companies, and the hotel and catering industry did not stop completely, in many cases investments and renovations were started, thus preparing for the economic restart.
