The United Nations Development Program is fighting the climate crisis together with leading PR professionals
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has signed a declaration with the International Communications Consultancy Organization (ICCO), a global alliance of PR agencies, on the fight against the climate crisis and the management of existing communication challenges.
UNDP is the largest agency of the United Nations, managing the fight against climate change with 6,000 projects in 170 countries. ICCO is the national association of PR organizations with more than 3,000 agency members in 40+ countries.
Within the framework of the partnership between UNDP and ICCO, the Climate Comms Taskforce (CCT) will be established. The working group is chaired by Chris Pratt, a member of PRCA’s Climate Communications Group, and Boaz Paldi, UNDP Creative Director.
The Hungarian PR Association (MPRSZ) participated in the preparatory discussions as a full member of ICCO, and will also play a role in the implementation of the campaign programs.
