eMAG appoints Balázs Polgári as its country manager in Hungary
Balázs Polgári has been appointed Country Director of eMAG Hungary with effect from October 1, the online store announced to MTI on Thursday.

Balázs Polgári joined eMAG in 2017 and has been leading the Marketplace business in Hungary as Director since March 2024. Previously, he managed the customer service and market support teams and was also involved in strategic projects. Under his leadership, eMAG Hungary will further strengthen its marketplace model.
His predecessor, Kinga Daradics, is leaving the company.
Founded more than 20 years ago, eMAG is one of the largest online retailers in Central and Eastern Europe.
According to publicly available company data, eMag Magyarország Kft.’s net sales revenue in the business year between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025 was 37.8 billion forints, after 61.2 billion in the previous business year, and its loss in the past business year was approximately 9.9 billion forints, while in the previous business year it was 9.6 billion forints.
