Romanian retail sales grew by 10 percent
The volume of Romanian retail sales grew by 10.2 percent in the first ten months compared to the same period of last year, according to the Romanian National Statistical Institute.
According to the seasonally adjusted and calendar-adjusted value, growth was 9.2 percent. During the period under review, sales of non-food products grew by 13.1 percent, while fuel consumption increased by 12 percent, and food sales by 5.8 percent.
In October, the volume of retail sales grew by 13.6 percent year-on-year, after sales of non-food products grew by 18 percent, fuel sales rose by 13.6 percent and food sales by 8.3 percent. (MTI)
