The number of guest nights increased in Romania
In the first quarter of this year, the number of guest nights increased in Romania by almost 15 percent, compared to the same period of last year – the Romanian statistical institute announced on Tuesday.
The number of guests increased by 12.6 percent, to 1.6 million at the commercial accommodations, while the number of guest nights increased by 14.9 percent to 3.2 million. The tourist spent average two nights at commercial accommodations.
In the first three months the number of visitors from abroad also rose by 11.4 percent, the majority of registered foreign visitors (32.6 percent) came from Hungary. (MTI)
