The number of tourists in Romania increased by almost 11 percent in the first quarter
The number of tourists in Romanian hotels grew by almost 11 percent in the first quarter of this year – according to the Romanian National Institute’s data published on Wednesday.
In the first quarter, 2,060 million tourists visited the commercial accommodations, out of which 446 thousand were foreign tourists. Th number of foreign tourists grew by 7.7 percent year-on-year. The number of domestic guests was 1.614 million in the first quarter, 11.8 percent more than a year before. (MTI)
