The Croatian economy grew by 7 percent in the first quarter
The performance of the Croatian economy grew by 7 percent in the first quarter compared to the same period last year, the Croatian Statistical Office (DZS) said on Friday, according to its first flash estimate.
According to seasonally and calendar-adjusted data, GDP grew by 6.7 percent quarter on quarter in the first quarter, while it grew by 2.7 percent on an annual basis.
Growth was slower than expected, but the first quarter of this year was the fourth quarter in which GDP strengthened in Croatia year-on-year. Economic growth was 9.7 percent in the previous quarter. (MTI)
