Romanian retail trade fell in the last twelve months
According to the Bucharest statistical office; because of the the drastic decline in demand, Romanian retail sales fell by nearly 14 percent in July, compared to the same period of the previous year.
The decline was 10.4 percent for the last seven months. Car sales decreased by more than 21 percent for the seventh month of the year and fuel consumption decreased by nearly 54 percent. According to the statistics, the 52.9 percent turnover fall of the travel agencies caused the 20 percentage shrinkage in the case of services – reports Napi Online.
