Leftover food on the table

Every year residue enough for 200 million people is left on the table in China – The Chinese leadership  and the society promoted fight against the wasting on many fronts.

In mid-January, Chinese Internet users launched an initiative against wasting on the Sina micro-blog that has 420 million registered users. The “clean-plate operation” is so popular, that more than 13 million entries born on the subject on the social platform.  (Szerencsi Ágnes, MTI)
