Innovation is also key in food industry vocational training, says the Ministry of Agriculture
Agriculture and the food industry are now unthinkable without innovation, developments, digitalization and the achievements of modern science. The government supports the transfer of professional knowledge with significant resources so that students can gain competitive knowledge in vocational training – said Imre Hubai, the State Secretary for Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) on Friday at the handover of the developments of the Kenderes Agricultural Technical School, Vocational School and Dormitory, according to the ministry.
According to the statement, Imre Hubai highlighted that the equipment now handed over – including a modern agricultural tractor, a minibus and a bakery and confectionery workshop – significantly contribute to strengthening the institution’s practice-oriented training.
The new machines and tools allow students to acquire the knowledge necessary for their profession through the most modern technologies.
This also helps in the long term, since “the challenges of tomorrow cannot be met with yesterday’s knowledge”.
The workshop not only provides professional foundations, but also conveys value: through the bread and pastries made by hand, students can experience the usefulness of their work. And nothing shows the importance of the profession better than the fact that bread has been a symbol of life, survival, and survival since ancient times – he added.
According to the State Secretary, the development of an educational institution always carries the message of the future and the transfer of knowledge, which is why the government contributed more than 980 million forints of support to ten different developments of the Great Plain Agricultural Vocational Training Center within the framework of the Rural Development Program.
The vocational training taking place in the institution today not only ensures quick employment, but also lays the foundation for the possibility of continuing on to higher education. According to the data, more and more young people are choosing this direction, so vocational training offers real prospects.
