The Chinese government promises the greater quality control of food and drugs

After the scandals of the past few months – in many cases international companies were involved – the Chinese government promised increased quality control in case of the most important products, including food and drugs.

The Chinese government in its action plan encourages to improve the quality and safety of consumer products paying special attention to food and agricultural products, medicines and building materials. The leadership asks the producing companies to take part in ensuring the quality, and to help in restoring confidence. (MTI, Szerencsi Ágnes)
