Hungarians trust labels on food-products more than the rest of Europe
To what extent do customers trust information indicated on the labels of various-food products? Market research company Nielsen has been looking for the answer to this question among many other issues in their latest survey carried out in 55 countries.
It is easy to conclude that as a whole, Hungarian consumers do trust information found on the labels of products, in fact they find it more creditable and reliable information than the average of 28 countries.
In Hungary, people seem to find most calory,-fat and vitamin information indicated on the packaging of the product reliable: 41, 37 and 35 percent of those asked believed these pieces information to be reliable and valid. However, in 28 other countries these data is not found reliable by most people: in fact 35 (calories), 25 (fat) and 26 (vitamin) percent believes these datas are reliable.
