The share of local products increased to 10-12 percent in food distribution
The distribution of local food production has increased to about 10 to 12 percent, while the internal sales of Hungarian food products increased from 70 to 75 percent – Fazekas Sándor, rural development minister said on Friday in Budapest at a professional forum.
The development of the Hungarian agriculture can not be achieved without the activities of the young farmers – said Fazekas Sándor at the conference of the Hungarian Association of Young Farmers. He said that the Hungarian food market was opened to the family farms via direct sales, which resulted in many outstanding examples: Békéscsaba for example, where 150 sausage maker manufactories are operating.
