Food sales increased the most in Hungarian online commerce
Online food trade is the fastest growing area of Hungarian trade – was said at the Agora Professional Conference in Budapest where the experts of the sector spoke about the impact of social media on Internet commerce.
The online food trade sector increased by 22.5 percent in 2017, and similar growth is expected in the forthcoming times. The value of an average online shopping is twice as a store shopping. In Hungary. 3 million people have already purchased online, including one million of them food via the Internet, and one third of them returning online consumer – said Madar Norbert, senior consultant of GKI Digital said at the roundtable discussion.
