The number of one-person households has risen steadily over the past decade
There are more and more one-person households worldwide, which can be linked to prosperity, rising incomes and aging, among other things. However, according to one study, the fewer people living in a household, the greater the burden on the environment, to which the use of large household appliances also contributes.
