About two-thirds of the unified applications were submitted by farmers this year with the help of the National Chamber of Agrarian Economy
The village farmers of the National Chamber of Agrarian Economy (NAK) actively contributed to the submission of uniform applications this year. More than 65 percent of the 164,603 applications submitted by the deadline of June 9, 2023, or 107,391 applications, were assisted by NAK specialists.
The significantly changed set of rules of the new Common Agricultural Policy, launched at the beginning of the year, presented the National Chamber of Agrarian Economy (NAK) with a serious task, as it was foreseeable that it would require more time and work to prepare uniform applications. The NAK was prepared for the submission period of the uniform applications, which started on April 20, in the framework of which it was possible to apply for support for more than 50 support titles and measures, and to fulfill the obligation to provide data.
By the submission deadline of June 9, 2023, 164,603 applications were received by the Hungarian State Treasury
About two-thirds of this, 107,391 pieces, were submitted by the farmers with the help of NAK’s village farmers. The applications submitted with the help of the Chamber cover 1.64 million hectares. The deadline of June 9, 2023 is void, so unified applications submitted after that will be rejected without a substantive examination.
NAK also provided support to those farmers who submitted their application themselves or with the help of a non-village farmer
He presented information about the new support system on a regularly updated collection page on his portal. He created and published video series and a KAP calculator to help calculate the expected support of his own economy. In cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, it organized farmer forums across the country and published several informative publications.
