The United States expects a record yield from corn
At the end of the week, the price of corn fell to its four years low at the Chicago commodity exchange: 3.7060 USD per bushel for September delivery.
This is the lowest price since July 2010. The September contract became cheaper by 1.85 percent during the week.
The price of wheat also decreased by 3.42 percent to the September deadline. On Friday it was 5.3220 USD per bushel, but was 1.16 percent more expensive than the week before. (MTI)
