The taxation of unhealthy foods is not the solution
Nutrition specialists, tax experts, food industry personalities and politicians all over the world are arguing over, can they influence the consumption of unhealthy foods, thereby fighting obesity, diabetes, and the spread of bad eating habits with using tax measures.
The experts agree that something must be done in order to stop the characteristics of the mass nutrition habits that are proven to be scientifically disease-causing. The fast-food chains and food manufacturers undoubtedly play an important role in this, but the problem is much more complicated – reports ProfitLine.hu, after the European Heart Journal.
