The entire Nagyerdő was illuminated by the Michelin star over the weekend
The 8th Debrecziner Gourmet Festival, the summer gastronomic meeting of Főnix Rendezvényszervező Nonprofit Kft., awaited its audience with new exhibitors and popular “regular guests”, star performers and an island of fans between June 14 and 16.
The festival was visited by 5,800 people over the weekend, the most popular caterers were KIOSK Budapest, Horgonyzó Kisvendéglő and A Leves és Borsod Burger, while among the drink exhibitors were Bortársaság, Koktélszínház and Ugar. According to the organizers, the most popular program was the concert by Bea Palya and the Zaporozsec band, as well as the Michelin-starred cooking demonstration by Ádám Mede and the Essencia Étterem.
In addition to the best restaurants, star chefs also presented themselves as guest exhibitors: under the professional guidance of Ádám Thür, the chef of the IKON Restaurant, the festival audience could meet such star chefs as János Mizse, Balogh Szabolcs and Ádám Mede. The Debrecziner Gourmet Award, launched in 2018, won again this year, based on the votes of the visitors, the award went to Vadaskert Vendéglő in Hajdúszoboszló. True, not even a day has passed since the gates were closed, and the organization of next year’s 9th Debrecziner Gourmet Festival has already begun.
