More than half of the e-tolls are paid by foreign road users
The revenue from the electronic toll system incresed by almost 12 percent last year, compared to the year before, exceeding gross 221 billion forints, of which more than 51 percent was paid by foreign road users – Bartal Tamás, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Toll Payment Service Provider said at the company’s press conference in Budapest on Wednesday.
 
He emphasized that the revenue of the HU-GO e-toll system valid for vehicles above 3.5 tons has grown dynamically, and exceeded the expectations of the budget reaching 4.7 billion forints last year. (MTI)
