The U.S. retail trade turnover increased without the car industry
U.S. retail sales fell by 1.5 percent in September. This is the biggest drop, since last December. But if the car industry is not taken into account, a more than expected 0.5 percent increase has been occured.
The September retail sales datas clearly show the impact of the completion of the American car change program. The result, however, is not to be considered wrong: first, the decline was after the 2.2 percent increase of August. On the other hand, with the exception of the motor-car category, the retail trade turnover increased by 0.5 percent – reports Világgazdaság Online.
