Auchan always wins on Auchan’s price comparison site

The Pénzcentrum tried Auchan’s recently launched price comparison website. The Internet portal put together three different types of consumer package. Auchan won at each.

From the 1st of September a new website has been launched by the Auchan Hungary, in order to compare the prices of the largest hypermarkets.
The monthly survey is made by the HMSM Consulting company, independent from Auchan. The comparable sized stores should be roughly at the same area.
According to Hackl Mónika, a spokesman for Tesco; the system will not be able to manage own branded products, which are a significant proportion of the consumer baskets. A once a month comparison, moreover, will not paint a realistic picture completely, because prices change constantly. Spar has similar views.
