EU support for agriculture should also be provided during the transitional period
Farmers should continue to receive their subsidies after the current Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) expires at the end of this year – Nagy István Minister of Agriculture head of the Hungarian delegation said following the Agriculture and Fisheries Council in Brussels on 27 January 2020.
EU agriculture ministers agreed that payments should be secured during the transition period beginning on January 1, 2021, and the transitional regulation on the CAP should be adopted as soon as possible – the Hungarian ministry leader stressed. (MTI)
