The agricultural ministry focuses on drought prevention tasks
Instead of dealing with drought damage, after the damage happened, the focus should be on prevention-related tasks – emphasized Feldman Zsolt, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture at the National Conference on Water at the 79th National Agricultural and Food Exhibition and Fair (OMÉK), in Budapest on Friday.
According to a communication sent by the ministry to MTI, the Minister of State recalled that in March, the government decided to provide annual 17 billion HUF plus resource from 2020 to 2030 for irrigation development, and planning for next year’s investments has begun. (MTI)
