SeqOmics Kft. is working on a solution to reduce the effects of drought.
SeqOmics Kft., based in Mórahalom, is working on a solution that can be applied to both seeds and seedlings to reduce the effects of drought. The project won about 212 million forints in the tender of the National Office for Research, Development and Innovation – the company informed MTI.
According to the communication, the number and intensity of droughts in Europe has increased dramatically in recent decades. According to forecasts, summers in Hungary will become warmer and warmer, and declining summer precipitation will increasingly cause water shortages. (MTI)
