Asahi acquires Winconsin-based Octopi brewery
Asahi Europe & International (AEI), the international business unit of Asahi Group Holdings, has acquired the beverage production and co-packaging facility of Octopi Brewing in Waunakee, Wisconsin. The acquisition will see the Japanese brewer accelerate its growth and begin producing Asahi Super Dry in the United States for the first time.
