Árfigyelő expects high traffic during the Advent season
Families can save money and time during Christmas bulk shopping by using the online Price Monitor – warns the Economic Competition Authority (GVH) in its announcement on Friday.
From the 62 product categories monitored in the system operated by GVH – which means about 1,200 different food products on a daily basis – prices have decreased in 50 product categories since the launch on July 1st. With conscious planning – for example, using the shopping list and store filter functions on the map – you can save thousands of forints and a lot of time during Christmas shopping, and the online Price Watcher available at www.arhiyelo.gvh.hu can be a great help in this.
In the database operated by the Economic Competition Office, customers can search in 62 product categories of six retail chains, with approximately 1,200 stores. The daily, current price of about 1,200 food products can be tracked in the Price Monitor. The majority of these are foods that may also be necessary to prepare Christmas dishes – noted the GVH.
