Some Chinese tea species are more expensive than gold
As the spring season approaches, the price of some Chinese tea species increased into heights never seen before. The highest quality, rare tea spiecialties are considered as luxury presents today, but they can be excellent investment as well.
In the auctions of the recent weeks the selling of this year's crop has started, and also a record was born. For a kilogram of Longjing tea from Hangchow not less than 360 thousand yuan (12.6 million HUF) was offered at an auction – the Chinese national radio reported. (MTI)
