Target kicks off back-to-school season with emphasis on value
A diszkontóriás július második hetében indította el iskolakezdési kampányát, amelyben a hűségprogramban résztvevők néhány különleges kedvezményben is részesülhetnek.
The discount giant is kicking its back-to-school and back-to-college sales campaign this week. The back-to-school promotions are open to all customers — although loyalty members are being offered some special perks.
For the first time, Target is offering a list of 20 “must-have” school supplies that add up to less than $20 in total. The list offers 20 popular products such as colored pencils, liquid glue and notebooks. The retailer is also offering “thousands” of back-to-college essentials under $20.
Target noted that its Summit Ridge Kids backpack, selling for $5.00 and available in a range of colors and patterns, is its lowest- priced backpack in 10 years.
The company added that its new price reductions will also provide lower prices on thousands of food and beverage items, such as bread, peanut butter, produce, lunchbox snacks, crackers, fruit snacks, cookies, and kids’ beverages.
Special back-to-school offers for members of Target Circle include a limited-time exclusive offer for teachers to sign up for the annual paid subscription of the Target Circle 360 expanded loyalty offering between July 14 and Aug. 24 and get same-day delivery for $49 for the first year.
Minneapolis-based Target Corporation operates nearly 2,000 stores and the Target.com e-commerce site.
