Apple is the world’s most valuable brand for the fourth year in a row

Apple has topped the list of the world’s most valuable brands for the fourth time in a row this year. According to the “BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands” survey by media market research company Kantar Millward Brown, Apple’s brand value has increased by 28 percent in one year to $1.3 trillion.

As in last year, Google is second on the list, with its value increasing by 25 percent to $944.1 billion. Microsoft Corp. is third with a value of $884.8 billion (+24 percent), and Amazon.com Inc. is fourth, with a value of 50 percent to $866.1 billion.

Nvidia Corp. is fifth, with its value jumping by about 150 percent to $509.4 billion. Facebook is sixth on the list, and Instagram is seventh with a value of $300.7 billion and $229 billion, respectively. McDonald’s Corp., whose brand value fell 0.4 percent to $221 billion, slipped to eighth place from fifth place last year.

Oracle Corp. is ninth, with a brand value increase of 48 percent to $215.35 billion, and Visa Inc. is tenth with $213.35 billion (+12.9 percent).

In addition to Nvidia, the most significant value increases (more than doubled) in the past year were achieved by China’s Huawei ($64.7 billion, 39th place) and Xiaomi ($21.9 billion, 96th place), as well as the US’s VMware Inc. ($47 billion, 55th place).

Among the new brands in the top 100, ChatGPT came in at 60th place ($43.6 billion), Stripe at 85th ($26.1 billion), and Chipotle Mexican Grill at 86th ($26.1 billion).

The combined brand value of the Top 100 rose to a record $10,777 billion.

The Brandz Top 100 ranking of the world’s most valuable brands has been compiled by the Kantar agency since 2006. It takes into account the financial performance of companies and the feedback of about 4.5 million consumers.
