Three quarters of the British purchase groceries online
A report by The Retail Bulletin revealed that three quarters of UK consumers use the internet to buy groceries, saying this type of purchasing is more convenient and cheaper as well. According to a global survey by Nielsen in 2012, 48 percent of those choosing online retail in the UK also looked for bargains, 30 percent visited coupon pages and 25 percent compared prices; 27 percent said they were planning to buy groceries online in the following months.
