The U.S. producer prices increased more than expected in March
U.S. producer prices increased in March more than expected – the U.S. Labour Department reported Thursday.
Producer prices increased by 0.7 percent, compared to February, when a 0.6 percent decrease occured, compared to January. The experts expected a 0.4 percent increase in producer prices.
On an annual basis, producer prices increased by 6 percent, thanks to the 23 percent increase of the energy prices – reports ProfitLine.hu.
